And another day, another First class flight (life is hard for a jet-set bear, isn't it?) Here is Willard in the Cathay Pacific First class lounge in Bangkok, waiting for the flight that will take him to Singapore. Notice that he, like his travelling companions, has chosen NOT to take advantage of the range of alcoholic beverages the lounge offers, as all of the Champagne over the last 48 hours seems to be reacting with the increasingly large backlog of (very nice!) Birthday cake in his stomach to form something that seems to be behaving uncannily like ready-mix concrete....

And so, onto Willard's flight to SIngapore, on a Cathay Pacific Boeing 747-400 (i.e. a "Jumbo Jet"). Even though this is a flight scheduled for less than two hours, Willard is pleased to find that Cathay's First Class Lunch menu nevertheless still includes smoked salmon and caviar, and all of a sudden his appetite (and taste for Champagne!) unaccountably returns...

And, after being picked up by his chauffeur-driven Mercedes, Willard arrives in his Suite at the Oriental, SIngapore, only to find another bottle of Champagne, together with Jasmine tea, handmade chocolates and a Birthday card (courtesy of the Centurion travel team at American Express) are all waiting for him. All of a sudden, being 40 isn't looking so bad, but with all of this cake and champagne, the chances of seeing 41 are looking decidedly iffy...

Of course, like all true gentlemen, Willard has a "flunkey" to do the hard work for him - He isn't called "Beeker" and CERTAINLY isn't a "Gentleman's Gentleman"!

And, as Willard goes up to the Club lounge at the Oreintal, he finds that the staff in the lounge has presented him with Birthday cake number five! It's bear-ley believable!
