Strapped in for descent, Willard is at least happy that he got a seat to himself in this, virtually empty, (3/14) First Class cabin.

Back on the ground and Thai's First Class service is back on form (at their home airport!) and there is someone waiting to whisk Willard past the other passengers and......

.....straight through the "Diplomatic and VIB" immigration channel!

After being handed over to a Thai Airways porter, who collects our checked baggage for us, and expresses the usual confusion that a bear of such obvious refinement isn't being collected by Limosine, we embark on the Bangkok taxi experience (soon to be a ride at DisneyWorld's Epcot centre - but you'll never know how much it will cost or how it Is worked out!)

Willard checks in at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, but his usual suite is unavailabe (due to us no longer having an SPG Platinum card!)
