Keen to take in the local atmosphere, Willard eschews the gourmet dining options at Le Meridien and instead finds a small, traditional german bar, where he is warmly welcomed by the regulars (even though they are confused that he isn't drinking beer)

But what's this? When he gets back, there is a gift and a note from the Front of House staff! - It reads "Dear Willard, please enjoy our VIP gift especially for you! With Regards from the friends at the Front Office.". And a Jar of Honey for Willard!! This really is the VIB treatment!

Applying option C of our "Top Gear Challenge" rules, we decide to Taxi to Frankfurt Airport the next day, as we feel it is important to arrive in style, and we also think the Lufthansa First Class Terminal that we will be checking into today is not really set up for people arriving by public transport!

Check-in happens so quickly that we scarcely even notice it has happened, much less get a chance to photograph it! This has to be the most painless check-in and security process we have ever enjoyed! Willard is greeted by our Lufthansa PA, who will be our guide and assistant during our stay at the First Class terminal.
